The Neon Cowboy Collection (NCC) Pre-Launch Collection - Explained
Jul 11, 2026
The launch of the Neon Cowboy collection is a direct evolution from the enthusiasm sparked by the NCC pre-launch series. The collection consists of 121 pieces. In the earlier phase of Tay Harlan Gallery—much like a beta test in tech—each piece had western titles and One-off codes ranging from 1 to 121, allowing experimentation and discovery. The positive response to that initial run gave me the confidence to refine and expand. Now, the official Neon Cowboy Collection is soon to be released and thoughtfully structured, with each piece sequentially numbered—Neon Cowboy 1, 2, and so on.
While there will be dozens and dozens released over the years, there will come a time when no more pieces will be released. So the collection is exclusive and limited. This will offer collectors a more defined, cohesive experience in purchasing a numbered piece from the collection. The pre-launch was a key stepping stone, and the pieces still very valuable, but the real Neon Cowboy Collection will be debuted in the coming weeks.
Just as the Neon Cowboy Collection grew from the pre-launch’s success, it will also sit alongside a broader ecosystem of collections. These adjacent series will continue to develop in parallel—some focusing on modern Western themes and pop art, others drawing on more classical Western or broader Americana influences. They will be released in tandem and continue indefinitely, offering collectors a variety in prices and styles. In that way, the Neon Cowboy Collection becomes a central pillar, but it’s part of a living, expanding set of works that complement and enrich each other and the overall Harlan vision.
